Our Story
When the world came to a standstill during the COVID-19 pandemic, many people sought new hobbies to fill their time and lift their spirits. For Beckie, this period of uncertainty became the start of a transformative journey into the world of art.
Looking for a way to stay positive amid the turbulence, Beckie began drawing and painting in her kitchen. Initially, it was a way to pass the time, but as weeks turned into months, her skills and love for creating art blossomed. What started as a simple pastime evolved into a profound passion, and Rebecca found herself increasingly engrossed in her artistic endeavours.
Seeking out tuition & lessons from many sources she progressed through the uncertainty of a student to gain confidence & pride in her work. Moving from simpler exercises to start, Beckie’s abilities & aspirations grew. Step-by-step she added new materials & techniques to her repertoire.
Our Philosophy
At The Next Level Art Academy we present lessons designed to facilitate a clearer vision of the world, one which will enable the artist to correctly see and record line, tone, shadow and colour.
Aside from the skills delivery aspect of the Academy, personal development and confidence building follow as by-products of achievement and mastery. Combined with a new way of looking at art and the world these new experiences are frequently transformative.

More than just skills tuition we aim to promote the pursuit of beauty, a concept that has far too frequently fallen out of favour in mainstream education yet is fundamental to the human experience and provides a doorway to awe and wonder.
